OCD cleaning chat thread

I have recently been cleaning the white wheels in the living room ready for thursday when i put them on, if my process isn't OCD i dont know what is lol

Start off with taking them off the car every time i wash it. Wash them front and back with my banana gloss shampoo.

This is my twice yearly process to keep them as white as possible:
Then once they are dry i give them a polish with Autoglym Super Resin polish front and back to make sure the wheel is as clean as possible for the next two steps
Then comes a layer of cherry glaze
Then comes a layer of Hellshine Spray Abyss protectant, love this stuff. the shine you get after is unbelievable as you will see below
And to finish off the tyres get a coat of Meguiars hot shine, not done in these pics as its very messy lol


Such a long winded process to get them looking perfect, takes me about 2 hours a wheel.

then put a coat of the protectant on which gave the wheels a really nice faint red look to them


the end result, such a nice shine. well happy


If you look the wheels on the right haven't been polished, on the left have. such a massive difference, more noticeable in person but still very noticeable in the picture

they do look extremely clean ash, oh to be single again so i could spend 8 hours cleaning my wheels

Yeh if i had a job these wheels would have had a quick polish and thrown on lol i mean, you wouldn't think these wheels have even been on the roads they are that clean lol

I spent a fortune at Autobright last weekend again - Cant wait for the new cars to arrive as its going to be a long day cleaning.

Just wish Autobright would hurry up, remove there fingers from there arses and sort my snow foam lances out as its been 2 weeks now

Mine get a quick going over when I wash the bus, but there only winter wheels anyway, if I do get round to refurbing the 17's anytime this year they'd get a but more time spent on them..

I go by the thinking that if they are clean then keep them like that lol my wheels are as clean on the back as they are on the front

well over a month my snow foam lances have been at Autobright for a service and I even supplied the bits for 1!!! After sending the same message a few times over the last week they finally acknowledged me asking to check my address and giving me a tracking number

I then got another message saying they have serviced my non autobright lance FOC due to the issues so should have them back this week...................
