Had this misfire develop recently. Seemed worse under acceleration. So I swapped in a new set of plugs as No2 electrode appeared to have cracked insulation. Seemed ok for a while - then back again.
Today I spent a while trying to get my OPCOM to work. It did just long enough to see no error...
Just in time for Xmas brilliant.
I'm about to try to sort a misfire on my car - was thinking it could be an ignition issue but am wondering about injector(s) now.
Reading back it seems the challenge I ended up with years back was getting the car's immobilizer to accept the replacement second hand ECU (from Germany). I wonder how complete the rest of your donor car's circuitry is?
This seems to be the cheapest ECU on fleabay at the moment. Some others...
I'd of thought whoever did the engine conversion for your car would have included the diagnostics socket somewhere. It may be buried and you may need to be a contortionist to find it. But maybe not, and if a reader isn't available anyway...
The fact that it runs ok for a while sounds...

Part number either 90425261 or 90470718
Thanks

Update: Hopefully sorted now.
Saw this triggered one rather optimistically for sale on the web. You can see the cable drawn in tight. Wouldn't want to get your fingers caught in that...
I've just had to do this repair on my car. I tried to carefully prise the old socket casing apart, but it ended up too trashed to reuse. I found the little spring inside had indeed jumped it's seating but sadly was too bent up so in the end the whole thing was u/s.
I checked and the...
